myprem.eu is run by me, Mats Westman. I work mainly across Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and Linux, with a fair share of PowerShell, security configuration and self-hosted infrastructure in between. For over a decade infrastructure security has been in focus and with that comes evaluating impact on the whole IT eco system.

The MyPrem idea comes from that work: whatever the mix of on-premise, hybrid and cloud, it needs to be looked at as one whole entity before looking at the individual parts. ManageMyPrem is the first software built on that idea, and the blog is where scripts, troubleshooting write-ups and notes end up.

About this site

The site is static and self-hosted. It loads nothing from third parties: no analytics, no trackers, no external fonts, no comments. Search runs in your browser against a local index.

Scripts are offered as downloads with their SHA256 checksums. Verify the checksum, read the script and test it in a lab before running it in production. (Tip: AI can be used to verify what the scripts actually do.)
